Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Price Fraud Cheap Baskets

TFD1064 9/8/2026

My first observation is that Whirlpool, and probably all the other vendors of chest freezers, sells its chest freezers with only 3 baskets which is less than half of the "baskets" that a person would typically use. Secondly, the additional 4 baskets cost more than $100.00 each. Therefore, the actually cost of a chest freezer is more than $400.00 more than the adversited price. The baskets are made of thin wires and plastic handles. The wires are spaced so far apart that small storage containers do not stand upright. When fully loaded, the plastic handles do not slide easily.

Nice Chest Freezer

tmjc 3/19/2026

I don't like it as well as my old one. My other one had a slide in that give it six compartments. So nice. This doesn't have it and all the stuff just is in the bottom all mixed up.

Had to replace a 40+ year old freezer. Was hoping for this one to last a long time as well. Beginning to question as the unit vibrates when the compressor runs. Have reached level just to make sure and it™€™s fine. Otherwise everything else is fine.

Good freezer, but cheap basket hangers

RobinWisconsin 1/30/2026

The freezer is working well so far (after 1 wk). However, the cheap plastic bars that the wire baskets hang on from the side of the freezer will not last very long. Any amount of weight I put in the baskets causes the plastic strips to bend downward, and they will probably break if any pressure at all is used on them sliding them sideways. I've warned my husband he will need to be very careful when moving them.

Could be better

Danoh 1/27/2026

Part of the reason I bought t his freezer is because it advertised three level storage so I was expecting a built-in rail system. Instead it has cheap wire racking to set your wire basket on.

Remember to remove the spacers

Matt 722 12/28/2025

The freezer seems to be doing a good job keeping frozen. It did an initial large build up of frost due to shipping clips not removed upon delivery. They are red, about 3 inches long and support the lid from sealing the lid. There are 5 that need to be removed before starting the freezer

We've only had the freezer for a month but it's really nice clearing out the freezer part of our side by side. Now we've got room for a couple of frozen turkeys in the new freezer that wouldn't fit in the small side by side freezer.

Builds up ice everywhere

Gmack 10/2/2025

Terrible freezer. It constantly fills up with ice everywhere, on the walls, on the lid, even inside ziplock bags building up ice on the foods itself. I called for warranty and was told this is normal for freezer to build up ice. I can™€™t believe in 2025 we don™€™t know how to make proper freezers that don™€™t build up ice.

Happy with the Freezer

douglas 9/16/2025

Overall, very happy with the purchase. It was easy to get going, and is keeping everything frozen very well. There are a few negatives, but even combined, they were not enough to lower a star (and most had less to do with the product more with the company). 1) I followed all setup instructions (washing it out before using, etc...), but there is still a little bit of a chemical smell to it that I have not noticed with freezers before. That being said, it is the first "new" freezer I have ever had, so I also assume that will dissipate over time. 2) Shipping was a mess. It was delayed multiple times, and ended up taking two additional weeks beyond when I had ordered it. Pretty frustrating, but when it was finally delivered, the delivery was very smooth. 3) I did not see an option to add on dividers when purchasing, and they would be very helpful to have (and are essentially needed to fully take advantage of the space). Definitely need to get dividers.

16 cu ft multi level freezer

LadyGray3011 7/30/2025

I bought my 16 cu ft chest freezer July 2025. So far it™€™s been a great buy. Just wish It would have come with more storage bins as 3 bins for this size is just not enough and buying 2-3 more at -$50-$60 is crazy as I just bought the freezer. There has to be a better way to configure the ™€œ3 layers™€ it looks great in the picture!

Love the Product, Pay Attention during Instalation

Ha3m 3/12/2025

This freezer works excellently! Be careful when it's delivered, however, as there are plastic spacers between the lid and the chest that protect the rubber gasket in transit. We had no idea those needed to be removed once the freezer was installed, which resulted in extra energy costs for a couple months until we figured out the problem.

Works but Basket organization is all hype.

John 1/3/2025

Seems to be a good, functioning freezer. We received only three of the 4 promised baskets. The other wire stabilizers that sit in the bottom of the freezer are worthless- they don't even serve to divide the sections. The basket clips are cheap and will easily break. Bottom line, the organization of space is no better than any other freezer and worse quality than our old freezer.

Chest freezer fair only

Joe ! 1/1/2025

This unit replaced an existing freezer. Basket system in new freezer is flimsy and really only one layer. Quality of new freezer compared to one replaced is much cheaply made. Basket layer design could be much better if they would have designed rails for the different layers instead of a cheap wire rack design.

Freezer works good, however I am a little surprised that the light inside the freezer works off of what sounds like a ™€œmarble™€. When I open the top the ™€œmarble™€ rolls and the light turns on. When the lid is closing, the ™€œmarble™€ rolls and the light goes off. It works™€¦. Just surprised.

Happy Customer

J and S 6/19/2024

There is much to like about this freezer, the adjustable temperature, the red and green visible lights to show the unit is powered and at temperature, the illumination on the lid to provide interior light and the multi-level storage bins to arrange food items. The lid is counterbalanced to stay in position when open and the size is really ideal for our use. The storage bins are metal, but the clips that hold the basket in position are plastic. Our unit is 2 weeks old, so I have no opinion on the reliability of the unit over time. The delivery and removal of our old unit was efficient and the crew was respectful. We are happy with the purchase that fit our needs.

Chest Freezer Design

Ray H 6/16/2024

This is a very nice chest freezer and the only complaint I have is the cheap rollers that are put on the front and none on the back. How much extra does it cost to install decent rollers on a nice freezer. Very bad design!! But I'm sure no one that has any authority at Whirlpool will not contact me directly about this poor and cheap design.

Ray H 6/2/2024

So far so good, I like the basket positioning and that it could be used as a refrigerator. The only thing I find at this point that could be better is the rollers. All are non swivel wheals and are very small. Only good to pull straight out or push straight in against a wall. No maneuverability.

Questionable manufacturing and quality control!

Disappointed 1/6/2024

Considering it took the delivery of the THIRD FREEZER before I FINALLY received a PROPERLY WORKING, UNDAMAGED freezer before I can say Whirlpool finally got it right, I don™€™t consider Whirlpool is still what I call a ™€œthe best™€ brand on the market today. The first freezer arrived warped across the top, leaking cold air with excess frost buildup within a week. The second one arrived with a SERIOUS SCRAPE/DENT in the top of the lid, which I wasn™€™t going to accept. In each case I had to wait a month or more to receive a replacement. Having begun placing my initial order for the freezer in September, I finally received a fully functional, undamaged freezer in Dec. Since when does it take 4 MONTHS AND THREE FREEZERS LATER to get a properly working appliance?! All the freezers were delivered in the original boxes, unopened, as they were shipped from Whirlpool. Therefore, the condition of each freezer had NOTHING to do with the handling by the retailer, but everything to do with the manufacturer and Whirlpool™€™s QUALITY CONTROL DEPARTMENT! Need I say more?
